I have experience working on everything from
single panel repairs to full-body restorations. Some
past projects include:
Like this 356 Porsche.
Repairing and rebuilding metal panels on vintage race cars, including fabricating a new cowl, nose, and engine cover for this 1966 Eagle.
With over 15 years of experience in sheet metal shaping and over 25 building cars, I have worked on many projects, from small repairs to full vehicle body reconstruction. Some of my work includes:
Power Hammer Shaping & English Wheel
Hand metal finishing and straightening
Wire Edging, Swaging & Block Forming
Custom Panel Fabrication & Reconstruction
Tank Fabrication & Repair – Building or restoring side straps, mounts, and inlet/outlet tubes.
Restoration & Recreation – Custom-made grille inserts and trim parts in aluminum, brass, or steel.
I work with traditional torch and sand bending techniques to replicate original headers for vintage specialty cars or create custom exhaust designs. This approach allows for seamless, continuous headers and complex organic shapes in far less time than cutting, splicing, and grinding mandrel bends. I also fabricate megaphones, taper tubes, and heat-bent megaphones for both period - correct restorations and custom applications.
Fabricating water pipes, manifolds, roll hoops, and front or rear crash bars are all possible with an attention to durability and accuracy. I work with aluminum, stainless steel, mild and alloy steels, and titanium, offering a variety of options to fit different needs. The organic shapes achieved through this method provide both strength and aesthetic appeal.
Aluminum gas welding for panels and tanks, as well as oxyacetylene welding for steel and alloy steels, ensuring accurate period-correct fabrication and repairs.
Strong, high-quality welds for all metal types.
Soft and hard soldering, along with a variety of brazing techniques to match original construction methods.
